Hi, my name is Tyler, some deviants have taken to calling me Crimson because of my Deviant ID which I find funny!
A little about myself. I've been creating art for about 5 years now! I'm 19.
I am currently an undergraduate student working on getting my BFA! I just completed my freshman year! Woo! I'm so ready for Sophomore year!
I love anthropomorphic art! I listen to just about any kind of music (except for certain kinds of rap). I'm not sporty My favorite food is Italian. I'm Asian-American.
I don't have a website because computers tend to confuse me... -_-
On a more professional note: Most of work as an artist has been with two dimensional media but I'm thinking of going the three dimensional route with my degree. Mainly focused towards ceramics and approaching the medium from a sculptural aspect.

I haven't been on this site since I left for Belgium, wow.
It's been an intense time of making since the last time I was on DeviantART. Work for a semester in Europe, got back to the US and finished the academic year. Went to Peru to study art and ancient ruins afterwards. This summer I got to work for a month with my hero, Beth Cavener. Now I'm finishing my last year of undergraduate studies.
Maybe I'll update this profile sometime. Idk. It'll have to wait until the summer anyway.

Abroad Study!!!

So I officially have less than 3 weeks before I begin my abroad study for the Fall Semester in Belgium and I am freaking out!!! AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!! ...it's getting really hard to sleep!
The following will just come as train of thought:
I've been working part time and doing anything I could to raise extra money all summer! Classes have already begun at my University in America (a bit jealous of that.) I've been doing a bunch of projects this summer (non of which have been posted anywhere (partially because nothing is really finished (and I've got less than 3 weeks to do that))).

also, your pencil work is amazing. I wish I could draw animals and people realistically so well (unfortunately, the manga style has taken its toll on my art)

I started drawing manga style when I started to make art about six years ago. I don't think it takes a tole (just learn to draw soft lines when doing realism). I think manga style teaches you different aspects of art like implied line.
